the adaptations for the following flowers:

rose

sunflower

bluebellor belle (whatever)

magnolia

zinnia

poppy

perwinkle

dahlia

What are...?
rose- about 6 hours of sunlight/ day

regular watering (every 3-5 days depending on weather)

fertilized once every month

best time to plant them is in January



sunflower-needs plenty of sunlight

regular watering(every 3-5 days depending on weather)

best time to plant is April to July



bluebeller belle-?



magnolia-. It prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soils

best time to plant is August to October



zinnia- best to grow it in a pot first then transplant it into the ground

rich soil that is not too wet

it is an annual plant

it will begin to wilt in the frosty temperatures



poppy-they like a lot of sun but do not mind occassional shade

plant them in the fall and if your winter is mild you may plant them in the winter

they like their soil slightly moist

they are very delicate that they are easly harmed by wind or rain



periwinkle-does not like the cold

plant in the late spring



Dahlia- loves the sun (6-8 hours per day)

not tolerant of wet soil

do not like freezing temperatures
